Likando K. H ‘The Diamond’ (Mrs. Likando Kalaluka Hantukumane) was born in Gwembe, Zambia. She started taking interest in art from a young age while observing her father (Mr. Francoh Kalaluka) work on art pieces. She took up art at St. Josephs Secondary School from grade 8 to 12.  She went on to study for an Art Teacher Diploma at Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Sciences. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration (Major) and Psychology (Minor) obtained from the University of Zambia.

Likando has been working as an art teacher since 2009. She was awarded for best art results in 2012 and in 2017 under Mazabuka and Choma Districts respectively.  She is motivated by the desire to create fantastic world class art works with a ‘wow’ factor. Painting and sculpture are her main interests. Likando assisted her father in creating two prominent sculptures that is the Cane Cutter erected at Mazabuka Municipal Council and the Sable Antelope at Lwengu Private School in Monze.

She currently works as an teacher in Livingstone, Zambia
